The last class of the day in Riyadh was the CSI3* 1.45m Grand Prix Qualifier. 23 participants tried their best to set the fastest clear over the two phases. Only 10 pairs got through to the second phase, with only 5 of them clearing all the fences.
Chad Fellows was the fastest of those five together with Creevyquinn Pearl, a daughter of Cardento 933, to claim first place. Lily Elliot tried to put in a better time on Pesgo Adelheid Z (Gestion Priamus Z) but had to settle for silver. Ali Al Khorafi completed the podium after he saddled Inshallah (Nabab de Reve) for the class.
Abdulrahman Alghamdi trusted Asagan M (Argentinus) to clear the 1.45m high fences and jumped to fourth place, just in front of H.R.H. Prince Mansour Alsaud who brought Klaasgow (VDL Glasgow van het Merelsnest) to complete the top 5.
