A total of four combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Eventually it was Germany's Daniel Deusser who continued his winning streak. The German did put the cherry on top aboard his 13-year-old Gangster v/h Noddevelt (Eldorado Van De Zeshoek TN x Alme)

Deusser and the gelding, bred by A. Van Rooy, jumped to victory in 43.52 seconds. The pair finished more than 3 seconds ahead of Emanuele Camili and the Belgian-bred Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly x Querlybet Hero). The gelding, bred by Caroline de Laet, has Cordula de Laubry as his granddam, the mother of the most expensive embryo ever sold.

Henrik von Eckermann had already won the opening class earlier this week. It was previously announced that the Swede will take over the reins of Willem Greve's former Minute Man (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Montender). Together with the 10-year-old stallion, von Eckermann completed the Grand Prix podium. With one jumping fault, Carlos Hank Guerreiro followed in the saddle of Jonna Ekberg's former H5 Origi Horta (Kasanova de la Pomme).

Together with Untakable (Untouchable), Luis Gerardo Castaneda completed the top five.
