Earlier this week, Daniel Deusser spoke about his winning mentality in the Rolex Round Table. "It helps us stay positive. We keep our feet on the ground, and whether things go well or badly, we get back to work motivated the next day."

This evening, Deusser proved his winning mentality. Together with the 11-year-old Otello de Guldenboom (by Tobago Z), Deusser stayed about one second ahead of his fellow countryman Hans-Dieter Dreher and Vestmalle des Cotis (by Baloubet du Rouet). As one of the last to start, Mans Thijssen completed the top three.

Thijssen jumped to third place with the 13-year-old KWPN stallion, Hello (by Ambler Gambler), ahead of Marcus Ehning with Priam du Roset (by Plot Blue). Friday night's winner, Richard Vogel, rounded out the top five. Vogel guided Cloudio (by Casall) to fifth place.
