Daniel Deusser and the 11-year-old stallion Otello de Guldenboom (Tobago Z) flew to victory, stopping the clock at 63.07 seconds. 

French rider Julien Epaillard came close with Acatitla LS (Clearway), finishing second in 64.20 seconds, while Portugal’s Duarte Seabra took a strong third place aboard Dourados 2 (Diarado) in 66.00 seconds.

British and Austrian riders round out the top five

In fourth place, Great Britain’s Ben Maher impressed with Dallas Vegas Batilly (Cap Kennedy), stopping the clock just fractions slower at 66.04 seconds. Austria’s Max Kühner completed the top five on Count On Me 19 (Cascadello) with another fast clear in 66.60 seconds.

Emanuele Gaudiano leads in 1m50 class!

Earlier today, in the 1m50 speed class, Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano took the victory. Riding Vasco 118 (Vivant), Italian Emanuele Gaudiano galloped to a clear round in 56.37 seconds, securing victory in front of his home crowd.

“Vasco has become a real friend of mine; I’ve known him since he was five years old, and now he’s 11,” Emanuele says with a smile. “This year he has already won several Longines ranking classes: when he makes no mistakes, he is incredibly fast, and finishing first.” About his round, Gaudiano adds: “You never know until the end who the winning combination will be, but I felt I had been very fast."

French rider Kevin Staut also rode Kannonqulan (Kannan) clear and clocked 57.51 seconds, securing second place. Close behind was his compatriot Antoine Ermann with Odin van 't Hanegoor (Kiekeboe), who finished third in 57.77 seconds.

Irish rider Jessica Burke with Express Trend (Future Trend) and Britain's Robert Whitaker with Gentlemen vh Veldhof (Quite Easy) completed the top five in 58.26 and 60.00 seconds respectively.
