In Gothenburg, an international 1.50m speed class counting for the Longines Ranking was on the schedule. It proved to be a thrilling competition with minimal margins separating the top combinations. In the end, it was Denis Lynch who climbed to the top step of the podium.
Lynch ultimately took the win with Katja (Etoulon). The pair delivered a faultless round and stopped the clock in the fastest time of the class, 55.16 seconds.
Yuri Mansur followed in second place aboard Mister Jup (Carrera VDL), finishing clear in 56.36 seconds. Germany’s Sandra Auffarth completed the podium with Comcador OLD (Comme Il Faut) after a faultless performance in 59.58 seconds.
The margins remained tight just behind the podium, with the fourth and fifth places separated by less than a second. Geir Gulliksen guided the BWP mare Oh la La van Overis (Otangelo) to fourth in 59.82 seconds, while John Whitaker rounded out the top five with Sharid in 60.59 seconds.
