Nine combinations returned this evening for the jump-off of the 1.60m Trophée de Genève. With a single time penalty in the first round, Belgium's Nathan Budd finished in tenth place with Hugues Delattre's Zangersheide stallion, Touardo Blue Z (Toulon).

In the jump-off, Donald Whitaker was the last to start. Together with his own 12-year-old mare, Millfield Colette (Cornet Obolensky), the Brit beat Christian Ahlmann's time by more than a second. The German show jumper ultimately finished in second place with the 10-year-old stallion, Dourkhan Hero Z (Sea Coast Don't Touch Tiji Hero). Cian O'Connor and his German-bred Chatolinue PS (Diablo Blanco) followed in third place.

The pair was just under three seconds faster than Max Kühner and EIC Daloubet (Diamant de Semilly). In front of a home crowd, Edouard Schmitz rounded out the top five with the sBs gelding, Gamin van 't Naastveldhof (Chacco Chacco).
