The Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, once again showcased an exhilarating display of elite showjumping during the 1.50m Grand Prix Qualification. With top international riders and world-class horses competing for podium positions, the competition was fierce. Ultimately, it was El Ghali Boukaa of Morocco who claimed victory with an outstanding performance aboard A Kyss.
El Ghali Boukaa and A Kyss (Diamant de Semilly) delivered a breathtaking round, exhibiting exceptional agility and precision. Their faultless performance in an impressive 67.71 seconds secured them the top spot in this fiercely competitive qualifier.
Spanish rider Álvaro González De Zarate Fernandez came incredibly close to victory but finished just 0.05 seconds behind Boukaa. Casa Diva PS (Cascadello), bred by the renowned Paul Schockemöhle, delivered a flawless and swift round, securing the runner-up position.
France’s Nicolas Sers and Eleven de Riverland (Kannan GFE) showcased both speed and technique, delivering a smooth and steady round in 68.69 seconds to claim third place. Swiss rider Alain Jufer and Dante MM (Diarado) put in a strong performance, completing a controlled and faultless round in 72.21 seconds to secure fourth place.
Belgium’s Andres Vereecke and Halima van het Bonte Hof Z (Hos d'O) rounded out the top five with a composed and precise performance, finishing just behind Jufer.
