The 1.55m Grand Prix qualifier in Salzburg delivered top-level sport. In this two-round competition, six combinations managed to remain double clear. The victory went to Emanuele Gaudiano riding the 13-year-old Chalou's Love PS (Diablo Blanco, breeder: Paul Schockemöhle).
Emanuele Gaudiano and Chalou's Love PS jumped to the win in 42.79 seconds. The pair finished just under a second ahead of Luke Dee with the nine-year-old Gangster WW (Grand Slam, breeder: Wilhelm Winkeler). Roberto Turchetto completed the top three in the saddle of the KWPN horse Heidelberg (Mylord Carthago, breeder: Fam. Kappert).
As the last to go, Belgium’s Gudrun Patteet jumped to fourth place. Patteet stayed clear with the 10-year-old Sea Coast Chica V.V. Z (Comme Il Faut). Elia Simonetti followed in fifth place aboard Li La Bo (Uriko).
