On Sunday, February 16, François Leiser passed away. Leiser was the owner of a total of six Olympic show jumping horses. Privately, he was primarily a stock and diamond trader.
Leiser, who was honored as Swiss Owner of the Year in 2011, passed away on February 16. In the past, the Swiss himself competed at the 1.35m CSI3* level.
He owned top horses that were ridden by renowned riders such as Pius Schwizer, Gregory Wathelet, Trevor Coyle, Gudrun Patteet, and Abdel Said. More recently, he closely followed the riding career of his fiancée, Eva Ursin Leiser.
Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
