The Juniors Nations Cup Final in the 1.40m brought together some of the most promising young riders in international showjumping. On the final day, teamwork, precision, and nerves of steel determined the podium. Sweden claimed a commanding victory, while Ireland and the United States followed with impressive performances to secure the remaining podium spots.
Sweden delivered a dominant display, finishing on a perfect 0 score with a total time of 207.87 seconds in the opening round and a clear jump-off time of 104.74 seconds. Strong rounds came from Linn Arvidsson with Glenmorangie (68.10 / 34.44), Ella Löfqvist with Linus (68.75 / 35.40), and Mathilda Hansson aboard Pia-Lotta Van’T Roosakker (71.02 / 34.90).
Ireland took the silver medal, also completing with a 0 score in the first round, finishing in 218.06 seconds, and holding their ground in the jump-off on a final score of four faults and 107.36 seconds. Highlights included Abbie Oakey on Moningo-D Van’T Heyveld (73.54 / 34.69) and Emily Moloney with Tick A LU (71.36 / 33.68), both delivering fault-free first rounds. James Derwin on Quinci Quality (73.69 / 38.99) and Annie Boland aboard Calisto Blanc (73.16 / 36.59) added valuable support despite penalties in the jump-off.
The United States completed the podium in third place, also on a 4-fault score and a combined time of 210.77 seconds. Their effort was led by Campbell Brown riding Colina Z (71.42 / 4 faults) and Sophia Ayers with Conthinder (71.64 / clear). Jj Torano on Lyon 50 (70.59 / clear) also contributed a strong round, while Philippa Ammann (68.54 / 4 faults) helped secure the bronze for Team USA.
