The first CSI4* class of the week in Rouen has just come to an end. Fifty-eight combinations competed in the 1.35m class, ridden according to Table A against the clock. The pace was fast and the course proved to be perfectly manageable: in the end, 29 competitors crossed the finish line without faults. A strong opener to the four-star programme, which immediately sets the tone for the coming days.
The first CSI4* class of the week in Rouen unfolded at high speed, with the leading combinations delivering sharp, faultless rounds. Francois Xavier Boudant (FRA) took the win aboard Egoki (Catoki), stopping the clock in 51.49 seconds without faults. Close behind, Arthur Deuquet (FRA) guided Only One van de Fruitkorf (Andiamo Z) to second place after a clear in 51.73 seconds.
In third, Przemyslaw Konopacki (POL) rode Expression'Quill (Un Dollar de Blondel) to a smooth faultless finish in 53.70 seconds, followed by Franck Goubard (SUI) and Little Pony (Cohinoor VDL), who secured fourth with a clear round in 54.88 seconds. Completing the top five was Christophe Vanderhasselt (BEL) aboard Remaldparflam V/D Kleyenberg (Merald van 't Zorgvliet), also delivering a faultless effort in 55.46 seconds.
