In Frankfurt, the FRAPORT Preis, the Championat von Frankfurt, served as the first qualifier for the Grand Prix in a CSI4* 1.50m Winning Round. In a field of 52 starters, only the top two combinations managed to stay faultless in both rounds.
Victory went to German rider Elisabeth Meyer with Let It Shine (Eldorado vd Zeshoek), who produced a clear round in the final and stopped the clock fastest in 36.61 seconds.
The Netherlands made an immediate mark through Jur Vrieling, who guided Grand Slam VDL (Cardento) through the decisive round without penalties as well, securing second place in 38.44 seconds.
Italy’s Elia Simonetti completed the top three with Li la Bo (Uriko), picking up one penalty in the final round while finishing in 44.87 seconds.
Just off the podium, Japan’s Eiken Sato placed fourth with Campai 3 (Chacco-Blue) after four penalties in 39.11 seconds, followed by Germany’s Marcel Schneider in fifth with Chucky PS (Chacoon Blue), also on four penalties, in 39.85 seconds.
