"Let's talk numbers", in August nearly 1,000 foals were auctioned. On average, these fetched 9,527 euros per foal, though the median price was significantly lower at 6,500 euros!

Thanks to the French auction house, Fences, foals were sold for the highest prices in France, with an average of 21,081 euros. For the 46 foals offered, a median price of 16,000 euros was paid.

The highest number of foals over the past 30 days were auctioned in Germany and the Netherlands. Both countries passed the mark of well over 450 offered foals. Dutch auction houses achieved an average of 5,973 euros per foal (median 4,550 euros), while German houses reached 9,852 euros per foal (median 8,000 euros). Notably, the average is close to the median in both countries.

Belgian auction houses offered over 170 foals. On average, you paid 13,970 euros for a foal at a Belgian auction house, though the median was 'only' 7,000 euros.

Irish auction houses also achieved solid averages. For the 35 offered foals, you paid an average of just over 14,000 euros, with a median of 11,000 euros.

United Touch S still seems to be in high demand. On average, you pay 26,167 euros for a foal by United Touch, with a median of as high as 30,000 euros! With 19 offspring, Ermitage Kalone had the highest number of foals in auction. On average, you paid 10,833 euros to acquire an offspring of Gilles Thomas' stallion.
