With just two weeks to go before the start of the competition, the official list of horse-and-rider combinations for the Longines FEI European Jumping Championship 2025 — to be held at the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre (A Coruña) from 16 to 20 July — has now been confirmed.
A total of 18 countries have confirmed their teams: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, and Sweden. In addition, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Liechtenstein, and Slovakia will compete with individual riders only. Altogether, 92 combinations and 23 nations will be vying for the European titles at Casas Novas.
We find many of Europe’s top-ranked riders in the master list, adding even more depth and excitement to teams that have traditionally performed well at this championship. Germany, for instance, will count on Christian Kukuk (No. 4) and Richard Vogel (No. 10), supported by the experience of Marcus Ehning. Switzerland brings two major contenders: Steve Guerdat (No. 6) and Martin Fuchs (No. 7). Ireland fields a strong line-up with Cian O’Connor (No. 8) and Daniel Coyle (No. 13), alongside Darragh Kenny (No. 18) and Bertram Allen. France will compete with Kevin Staut (No. 9) and Julien Épaillard (No. 12) leading the way, while Great Britain will once again count on Ben Maher (No. 2) and Scott Brash (No. 20).
The quality and consistency of these riders on the international circuit promise an outstanding championship, with highly balanced teams and plenty of room for surprises in the race for the medals.
