Designed by FEI Course Designer Tom Holden (IRL), the track featured 13 obstacles and 15 jumping efforts, all to be completed within the allotted time of 86 seconds. Riders from around the globe rose to the challenge, with eight athletes representing several nations produced fault-free first rounds to advance to the jump-off.

Brazil's Gabriel de Matos Machado and the Irish Sport Horse gelding Legaland Sandro (Sandro Boy x Clinton) delivered the fastest clear performance in the jump-off, stopping the clock in 43.19s to secure victory in the AltaGas Cup. Sameh El Dahan (EGY) and Oscar-A (Harley x Cardento) followed in second with 44.63s while third place went to Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) and Laretto (Adagio de Talma x Indoctro).

The AltaGas Cup served as the qualifying competition for Sunday’s AKITA Drilling Grand Prix, setting the stage for a thrilling finale of the week. Fans can look forward to an exciting weekend of world-class show jumping, live entertainment, family-friendly attractions, shopping, and dining throughout the grounds.
