The winning team consisted of Marcus Ehning with Coolio 42 (Casalito), Sophie Hinners with Iron Dames Singclair (Singular LS La Silla), Daniel Deusser with Otello de Guldenboom (Tobago Z), and Richard Vogel with United Touch S. (Untouched) Together, they secured Germany’s world title in Aachen.

Belgium delivered a fantastic performance to take the silver medal. Nicola Philippaerts, Pieter Devos, Thibeau Spits and Abdel Saïd secured an impressive second place for Belgium.

Great Britain completed the podium with bronze. The United States finished fourth, while Italy rounded out the top five.

Marcus Ehning, who is part of the winning German team, is pleased with how things have gone so far. “Absolutely, so far it’s going well. We’re about a quarter of a second behind the time schedule, but I don’t think that’s a big problem. Of course, we still have to wait and see.”

The atmosphere in Aachen has also made a big impression on the German rider. “The atmosphere is fantastic! I know what happened here twenty years ago, and the atmosphere is also incredible when you ride the Nations Cup here. You can barely hear anything when someone is riding, and the people are really behind us. I think it’s a fantastic atmosphere. It’s a great promotion for the sport.”
