The 14-year-old KWPN stallion, Gaspahr (Berlin x Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve), will now enjoy his well-earned retirement from the sport. HX Stallions has announced the news, stating, "We are extremely grateful for the many wonderful sporting moments. It is time for Gaspahr to focus on breeding."

"Together with Giampiero Garofalo, we have experienced many sporting highlights. The bond between him and Gaspahr was exceptional, with unforgettable moments in Rome, Dublin, Eindhoven, La Baule, and more."

The stallion, bred by C.J.P. Helderman, was initially trained at the international level by Pieter Keunen. The duo competed up to the 1.50m level before the Italian rider took over the reins. Together, they won the 1.50m CSI3* in Eindhoven and claimed victory in the Grand Prix events of Kronenberg and Opglabbeek.

The pair also competed in the Longines Nations Cup events, including those in Barcelona and Hickstead.
