On Friday evening, six combinations qualified for the jump-off in the 1.50m main class. After a faultless finish in 40.07 seconds, Gregory Wathelet rode his homebred Argentina de la Marchette (by Acajou de la Marchette) to victory. The pair finished over two seconds ahead of Jean-Luc Mourier and the SF stallion Dionysos d'Aiguilly (by Jarnac).

Only these two combinations managed to complete the jump-off without faults. The fastest time, however, was set by Wathelet’s compatriot Abdel Said. Riding his own SF mare Arpege du Ru (by Apache d'Adriers, breeder: Christophe Legue), Said knocked one rail and thus had to settle for third place.

The duo stayed ahead of Melissa Garbail with Dandy de l'Eyre (by Iowa). The top five was completed by Nina Mallevaey and the 10-year-old mare My Clementine (by OBOS Quality).
