44 combinations lined up at the start of the second qualifier for the German Jumping Derby! In this CSI4* 1.50m class in Hamburg, it was the combination of Guy Williams and BH Gringos Legacy (by Tullibards Bennys) who jumped to victory.
Thirteen combinations were eliminated in this nerve-wracking and extremely challenging CSI4* 1.50m Prize of Dreame de Al Shira'aa Derby Tour... Only four of the 44 total combinations managed to produce a clear round, with Britain’s Guy Williams ultimately claiming the win. Williams, who stopped the clock at 95.52 seconds—more than eight seconds faster than Frederic Tillmann—secured the victory aboard the ten-year-old BH Gringos Legacy (Tullibards Bennys).
Tillmann took the silver with DSP Comanche VL (Cellestial), finishing ahead of fellow German Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, who completed the podium with Electric Joy (Diarado).
Just outside the stage, Commandant Geoff Curran opened the top five aboard Hawthornhill (Cardento), while Belgian rider Mike van Olst rounded out the top five. Van Olst, who had already placed in the top five of the Youngster Tour earlier that morning, finished his round on the ten-year-old Miracle Odth Z, a son of Mr. Cielo Odth Z.
