The 'reign' of Swedish top rider Henrik von Eckermann continues in the Longines Ranking list. The Swede has now been at the top of the world rankings for 31 months. He is still followed by Switzerland's Steve Guerdat.

At the last moment, Kent Farrington made a strong move with a Grand Prix victory in Wellington. The American swaps places with multiple Olympic champion Ben Maher. Switzerland's Martin Fuchs holds firm in fifth place.

Reigning Olympic champion Christian Kukuk (GER) follows in sixth place, ahead of McLain Ward (USA). The American drops one spot but stays ahead of Richard Vogel (GER). The German exchanges his position with Austria’s Max Kühner. New to the top ten is Julien Epaillard (FRA), who moves up to tenth place.
