Isabella Russekoff has announced on her social media the retirement of the 17-year-old Balou's Fly High. Together with the son of Balou du Rouet, Russekoff jumped from 1.20m courses to a CSI5* level. "I will be eternally grateful for all the moments! You have truly made my dreams come true!"
Together with the stallion, the Israeli rider collected numerous successes. The pair won the CSI2* Grand Prix in Oliva in 2021 and a year later won the CSI4* 1.45m class in Wellington.
The combination further placed on the podium of the 1.50m CSIU25 in Stockholm, as well as in international classes in Opglabbeek, Valkenswaard, and Bordeaux!
