During the CSI5* in Rabat, presented by the Comité National Olympique Marocain, some of the world's best combinations competed in an exciting 1m50 Longines Ranking class with jump-off. The victory went to Germany, thanks to Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann.
The win in this technically challenging class went to Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann with Iron Dames High Level (Livello). The German rider remained double clear and was fastest in the jump-off with a time of 37.18 seconds, good for the top prize of €41,250.
Her compatriot Christian Ahlmann followed in second place with D'Aganix 2000 Z, a descendant of Dominator 2000 Z, in 38.43 seconds. The podium was completed by Sweden's Peder Fredricson and SV Vroom de la Pomme Z (Vigo d'Arsouilles), bred by Belgium's Geert Baertsoen, in 38.96 seconds.
The Belgian flag was held high by Jérôme Guery, who put in a flawless performance with his experienced Careca LS Elite (Carusso). Guery clocked 39.33 seconds in the jump-off, good for a creditable fourth place and prize money of €16,500.
