Guery kept a cool head in Morocco. Partnered with Kiliman Sitte (s. Comme Il Faut x Button Sitte), bred by Horse Of Belgium, he remained clear in the opening round before setting an unbeatable time of 46.45 seconds in the decisive second phase to claim the top spot.

"I've been coming to the Morocco Royal Tour for 15 years, and I think the evolution of the tour has been remarkable," explained the course designer just minutes before the Grand Prix. "El Jadida truly deserved to be upgraded to five-star status. Designing a course for a CSI4 and a CSI5* is completely different, whether in terms of time allowed, technical difficulty, distances or the choice of obstacles. Even though I'm now used to designing at this level, every course is a new story waiting to be written, especially when it's at a new venue. And I'm sure that here in El Jadida, it will be a beautiful one."

Second place went to Britain's Chloe Aston aboard the Zangersheide stallion Akito Von Rocherath Z (s. Arko III x Numero Uno), bred by Edgar Stoffels, who also delivered a double clear in 47.79 seconds. France's Simon Delestre rounded out the podium with Golden Boy DK (s. Diamant de Semilly x Cash), bred by E.A.R.L. Haras D'ick, finishing on 4 penalty points in a blistering second-round time of 41.28 seconds.

Tom Schewe (GER) finished fourth with Congress Blue PS (s. Congress x Chacco Blue) on 4 penalty points, while Roberto Previtali (ITA) took fifth riding Quirinus 27 (s. Quality Time TN x Balou du Rouet). Olivier Perreau (FRA) closed out the top six with Himalaya du Temple (s. Toulon x Radieux).
