At the Royal Agricultural Fair in Toronto only three combinations qualified for the international 1.50m CSI5*. Eventually Jessica Mendoza jumped to victory aboard her 12-year-old Zangersheide-gelding, I-Cap Cl Z (I'M Special de Muze).
Aboard the 12-year-old gelding, Mendoza, referred, Daniel Bluman with Hummer Z (Harley VDL) to the runner-up position. Bluman and his 10-year-old KWPN-gelding were followed by Sean Jobin and the 12-year-old Zangersheide-stallion, Coquelicot vh Heuvelland Z (Catoki).
All three combinations managed to produce a double clear. Jobin stayed ahead of compatriot, Vanessa Mannix and the 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood-gelding, Lehar (Verdi). With 3 time penalties, USA's Lillie Keenan completed the top five aboard Argan de Beliard (Mylord Carthago).
