The final event for the CSIO3* riders was the highlight of the day. The 60 participants took their chance to go home with gold in the 1.55m Grand Prix. To compete for the win in the jump-off, the combinations first had to complete a challenging first round. In the end, 14 pairs managed to secure a ticket to the second round.
Only seven of the fourteen combinations in the jump-off managed to keep every pole in the cups. The fastest time was set by the last combination to enter the ring.
Britain's Jodie Hall McAteer saddled up the stallion Key West to take home the gold. Key West is a ten-year-old son of Otangelo.
Anthony Bourquard set the second fastest time for Switzerland on Fontaineblau Manciais (Ogrion des Champs), while Canadian Kyle Timm rode to third place with Glamour du Chanu (l'Arc de Triomphe Bois Margot).
France's Marie Demonte finished just off the podium. She brought out Forban de Beliard (Upsilon) to finish just ahead of Ireland's Susan Fitzpatrick and Valisco PS (Vivant van de Heffinck).
