Julien Epaillard and Le Coultre de Muze claim CSI5* victory in Paris!

The CSI5* GCL individual competition at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Paris produced a thrilling result for the home crowd. France's Julien Epaillard stormed to victory aboard the BWP stallion Le Coultre de Muze in the 1.60m class. Behind him, Germany's Daniel Deusser and Belgium's Thibault Philippaerts completed the podium, while Lillie Keenan and Charlotte Leoni rounded out the top five.
Julien Epaillard delivered a flawless performance in front of his home crowd, guiding the 15-year-old BWP stallion Le Coultre de Muze (Presley boy) to victory in a time of 63.57 seconds. The result secured top honours in the prestigious CSI5* Longines Ranking class.
Germany's Daniel Deusser finished second aboard another Belgian-bred horse, Pepita van T Meulenhof BR (El Torreo de Muze). The pair produced a faultless round in 65.21 seconds to claim the runner-up position. Belgium's Thibault Philippaerts followed closely behind in third. Riding Pittman v/h Lilleveld (Diamant de Semilly), he also left all the rails in place and stopped the clock in 68.43 seconds.
Just off the podium, American rider Lillie Keenan guided Fasther (Vigo d'Arsouilles) to fourth place with a clear round in 70.07 seconds. France celebrated another top-five finish thanks to Charlotte Leoni, who piloted Cyclone l'Epivent (Ulixe) to fifth place in 71.04 seconds.
