After a jump-off with eight riders, Karl Cook has won the $400,000 World Cup. Cook finished more than a second faster than Daniel Bluman. He claimed the World Cup title with his 12-year-old Caracole de la Roque (Zandor, breeder: Top Stallions Company).
Cook was followed by Daniel Bluman and the nine-year-old Corbie V.V. (Cornet Obolensky). Together with the mare, bred by Evelyne Van Vreckom, Bluman kept Cian O'Connor with the 11-year-old Iron Man (Charisma Z) in third place. O'Connor and the 11-year-old gelding, bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof, relegated Vanessa Mannix with Kingston (Ustinov) to fourth place.
The top five was completed by Kaitlin Campbell and the 13-year-old son of Cornet Obolensky, Castlefield Cornelious.
