World No. 2 Kent Farrington (USA) leads a star-studded field into Traverse City, MI, on 20 September for the opening leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League (NAL) 2026/2027.
Coming off his inaugural World Cup™ Final victory in Fort Worth last April and a recent CSI5* Grand Prix win at the Hampton Classic with the brilliant 12-year-old mare Greya, Farrington targets a third consecutive Traverse City season-opener win.
Star-Studded Opening Field
Traverse City marks the first of seven NAL legs across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, offering crucial points toward the 2027 Final in Gothenburg (SWE). Joining Farrington in the line-up are four fellow top-20 world-ranked riders:
-
Shane Sweetnam (IRL) – World No. 5, fresh off a CSI5* Kubota Grand Prix win at Angelstone.
-
McLain Ward (USA) – 2017 World Cup™ Champion.
-
Daniel Bluman (ISR) – Reached a career-high world ranking of No. 6 in August.
