The CSIO5* Big Tour in St. Tropez - Gassin brought together the world’s best combinations in a thrilling 1.55m speed class. With an exceptionally sharp round, Dutch rider Kevin Jochems claimed victory.
The win went to Jochems with the 10-year-old BWP gelding Prada di Costa M (Vannan), bred by Stoeterij Molenhof. Their flawless ride in 65.50 seconds was unbeatable and secured Jochems the day’s triumph.
Second place went to Brazilian rider Stephan de Freitas Barcha aboard Dinozo Imperio Egipcio (Diamant de Semilly). The Brazilian duo also produced a clear round, finishing in 65.83 seconds, just behind the Dutch winner.
In third place was Argentine rider José María Larocca Jr. with Finn Lente (Gaillard De La Pomme), stopping the clock at 67.94 seconds. He shared this position with Frenchman Roger Yves Bost on Delph de Denat HDC (Air Jordan), who finished in exactly the same time.
The top five was completed by Simon Delestre with the only 9-year-old Golden Boy DK (Diamant de Semilly). Their faultless round in 68.27 seconds was enough to secure a place in the top five.
