While the CSI4*-W FEI World Cup took place in Riyadh with 17 pairs prepared to compete, other riders conquered the CSI4* class in Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi. There, 68 combinations tried to snag the golden medal for their country.
CSI4*-W FEI World Cup Riyadh - 1.55m
Khaled Almobty (KSA) set an extremely fast time of 45.32 seconds in the second round of the 1.55m FEI World Cup, which was good for a convincing win. He trusted Diana du Plevau Z, a daugther of Dieu Merci van T&L, to conquer the class.
Emanuele Camilli sprong naar de tweede plaats met Chacareno PS (Chacco-Blue) voor Italië. Pilar Lucrecia Cordon completeerde het podium voor Spanje na Pica Pica Z (Pilgrim) te hebben gezadeld. CSI4* Al Forsan - 1.45m
Antonia Pettersson Häggström conquered her 1.45m in Al Forsan with class on the back of Komme Vous, a 10-year-old Comme Il Faut mare, to claim GOLD for Sweden.
Shady Ghrayeb and Cabernet de Mars (Baloubet du Rouet) jumped onto the second spot on the podium for Syria while Ali Hamad Al Kirbi stepped on the last podium place with Diabla PS (Chacco Lover) for the United Arab Emirates.
The Irish rider Trevor Breen chose to take Konrad Obolensky (Cornet Obolensky) out of his stable to ride to fourth, ending just in front of Spain's Carlos Bosch Cebrian on Jolie van der Berghoeve Kar (Jaguar vd Berghoeve).
