Fifty-two riders took part in the main event of this first day at Mâcon Chaintré, the Mâconnais Beaujolais Agglomération | Cluny Mâcon Formation Prize, set at 1.50 meters. In this Table A against the clock course, designed by French course designer Cédric Longis, French rider Lalie Saclier, aboard J’Adore, completed the round in 66.19 seconds. This blazing time, set early in the competition, could not be beaten by her competitors. Paul Delforge and Energika des Neyes finished two seconds behind, securing second place in this all-French podium. Jean-Luc Mourier and French Pro Elite Vice-Champion Nicolas Sers, riding Fol Amour Saint Denis and Eleven de Riverland respectively, shared third place with a time of 68.58 seconds.

"I’m very happy with this victory today! J’Adore jumped the 4* Grand Prix in Bourg-en-Bresse last weekend, as well as several major events in recent weeks, so my goal for this round was to ride a smooth course, keep a good rhythm, and simply enjoy ourselves at this height. Now she’ll get two days of rest before Sunday’s Grand Prix, and Fénomène will take over tomorrow!"

French rider Benoît Cernin claimed victory in the ETA Serge Perraud - Team Moto Quad Prize, set at 1.40m, with Flipper de Maucourt.
"I chose Flipper de Maucourt for this class and I must admit, I let him make all the decisions on course. Luckily, he made the right ones (laughs)! He was fantastic once again today. He’s just faster than the others — all the credit goes to him. Now we’ll do everything we can to keep the momentum going through to Sunday!"
Competitions continue through to Sunday at the Mâcon arena, where the Jumping International de Mâcon Chaintré is celebrating its 15th anniversary!
