The first qualifier for six-year-old horses took place in Lanaken, with 1.30m competition held over two phases. Lauren Adams and Playboy ASJ produced the fastest clear performance to take victory, while Mathieu Bourdeaud'Hui and Uno van den Dalenberg secured a strong Belgian second place.
Lauren Adams and Playboy ASJ, a six-year-old KWPN gelding by Hardrock Z out of Durango VDL, remained faultless throughout both phases. The Irish combination stopped the clock at 24.51 seconds in the second phase to claim the win. Mathieu Bourdeaud'Hui followed closely behind with Uno van den Dalenberg (Ermitage Kalone) in 24.64 seconds.
Adams also secured third place, this time with BP le Tara (Dominator 2000 Z). The pair completed the second phase clear in 24.74 seconds. William Rekert finished fourth aboard Corinio Z (Columbus Z) in 24.98 seconds, while Emily Moloney and Ukina (Connor) completed the top five with a time of 25.02 seconds.
