Schedule and System

  • Tuesday, April 1 – First veterinary inspection.

  • Wednesday, April 2 – Training session. Each horse-rider combination has 90 seconds to familiarize themselves with the arena. In the evening, the opening ceremony takes place, along with the draw for the starting order!

  • Thursday evening – The first round of the Longines FEI World Cup Final, a Table C course at a height of 1.60m, is scheduled. The winner receives one more point than the number of starters. The second-place finisher gets two points less than the winner, the third-place finisher three points less, and so on.

  • Friday evening – The second competition, a 1.60m course with a separate jump-off, is scheduled. Every combination, except those eliminated or who withdrew on Thursday, may start on Friday. The winner receives one more point than the number of starters. The second-place finisher gets two points less than the winner, the third-place finisher three points less, and so on.

  • After this final, all points are converted into penalty points. The leader of the standings will have 0 penalty points, while the others will receive a penalty score based on the difference between their points and the leader’s, multiplied by a coefficient of 0.5.

  • Saturday – A rest day for the showjumpers, but the dressage combinations will compete. The second veterinary inspection for the showjumpers will also take place.

  • Sunday – The ultimate final is scheduled. In the 1.60m – two-round competition, the winner will be decided! Only the top 30 horse-rider combinations will start in the first round on Sunday. The top 20 from the first round will advance to the second round.
