Dutch breeder and owner Mario Everse experienced a special moment on Sunday in Lanaken. His homebred mare Elotte Z, a seven-year-old by Eldorado van de Zeshoek, was crowned world champion among the seven-year-old showjumpers. An achievement that Everse does not see as a coincidence, but as the result of a thoughtful breeding strategy and a horse with exceptional qualities.
