In Today's main class at the Al Shaqab center Portugal's coursebuilder, Bernardo Costa Carbal set a challanging round. After a Jump-Off with 10 it was Austria's Max Kühner jumping to the win aboard J.W. Greve's bred, gelding EIC Quantum Robin V (Carambole).
Kühner and the 13-year-old KWPN-gelding were about 0,1 second faster as Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmerman and the 11-year-old Cellagon Cascais (Colestus, breeder: Denis Grubitzsch). The stage was completed by Neal Fearon and BWP-mare, Derrygle Obsidian (Kafka vd Heffinck, breeder: C. Assez).
Yesterday's 1.50m winner, Switzerland's Nadja Peter Steiner placed outside the stage with her 14-year-old Mila (Monte Bellini). The pair referred Austria's Gerfried Puck to the fifth place with BWP-sire, Equitron Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet).
