The Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) season is nearing its conclusion with just four legs remaining, and Max Kühner remains firmly in control of the overall ranking. The German rider, who missed the recent event in Riesenbeck, holds a commanding 208-point lead over his nearest rival, Andreas Schou of Denmark.
Max Kühner did not compete at Riesenbeck, but remains in the lead of the LGCT standings with 208 points. The St Tropez Grand Prix winner holds a 16-point lead over Dane Andreas Schou. Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten is in third place with 183 points. Both Schou and Van der Vleuten have been one of the most consistent riders on the tour this year, consistently finishing in the top placings. They have yet to win a Grand Prix this season, but his podium finishes have kept them in the hunt for the overall title.
Christian Kukuk (GER), the winner of the Madrid Grand Prix, follows ahead of the winner of Shanghai, Belgian champion Gilles Thomas (BEL). Thibeau Spits also features in the top ten. Thanks to his Grand Prix victory in Riesenbeck, Spits jumps into seventh place.
