Crossing the timers in 64.82 seconds, Moissonnier narrowly edged out Italy’s Giacomo Casadei, who took second place aboard the nine-year-old BWP mare Rodania ter Leydonck (Gino H x Bamako de Muze) with a time of 64.90 seconds. Switzerland’s Edouard Schmitz completed the podium on home soil, riding the 17-year-old Holsteiner gelding Quno (Quo Vados x Cash and Carry) to third place in 65.56 seconds.
Great Britain's Holly Smith finished fourth with the 16-year-old KWPN stallion Fruselli (Zambesi TN x Karandasj) after stopping the clock at 65.76 seconds. Belgium’s Mathieu Bourdeaud'hui delivered the top performance for his nation, placing fifth with the nine-year-old BWP stallion Ruud DC.
Bred by Rudy De Cooman and owned by Krismar Stables, the son of By Cera d'Ick out of a Mylord Carthago dam produced a clear round in 65.83 seconds to secure a spot in the top five of the international field.
