Swedish rider Emma Emanuelsson has announced on social media the sale of her trusted 10-year-old mare, Canbella Blue PS (Cantolar x Chacco-Blue). The mare will be moving to the stables of Cian O'Connor. The Irish rider previously announced that several of his horses have been sold or returned to their owners, forcing him to expand his stable once again.
Canbella Blue PS has won numerous prizes with the Swedish rider this year. The pair won the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix of Arezzo, Italy in April and finished in the top five of the 1.55m CSI3* Grand Prix of Redefin, Germany. In May, they reached the podium of the CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Hohenkirchen. The combination was also part of the Swedish team in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of Falsterbo. Last week, the pair finished third in the CSI5*-W Grand Prix in Oslo.
"You will always be my number one. I didn't think our journey would end so soon, but sometimes life takes a different turn and that's tough," writes the rider on her social media. "I am so grateful for all the successes and all the joy I have been able to experience with this fantastic horse!"
