It was previously announced that Belgian show jumper Ugo Berrittella saw one of his talented horses depart for Daniel Deusser's stables. Now, the eight-year-old gelding Chocolat van de Broy Z (Casallo Z x Lord Z) has also left Berrittella's stables.
The eight-year-old son of Casallo was sold to Ilan Ferder at the beginning of this year and recently began competing nationally with Canadian rider Erynn Ballard. Yesterday, the pair jumped successfully in the national 1.40m in Wellington. Earlier this year, the rider also welcomed Koen Vereecke's former mount, Siebe van de Nieuwburghoeve.
The gelding last competed internationally with Berrittella in Lier last year. Previously, the pair placed in the youngster classes in Opglabbeek and Lier.
