For the second consecutive year, Avenches hosts the decisive Final of the Longines EEF Series, bringing together ten nations from across Europe for the final battle of the season. After a record-breaking journey through eight regional qualifiers and two highly competitive semi-finals, the stage is now set for the Longines EEF Series to reach its conclusion on Sunday. 

In Saturday's CSIO4* 1.50m Prize of Longines presented by the Canton of Vaud, it took a jump-off of 19 horse-and-rider combinations to separate the field. In the end, it was 22-year-old Oliver Pisarik (CZE) who took the top honours, taking the win with Elixir de Hus (L'Arc de Triomphe x Chapultepec). Thijmen Vos (NED) and Cadillac Z (Carrera VDL x Quasimodo vd Molendreef) finished second, with Christoph Könemann (SUI) and Henry W (Emerald x Quantum) in third. 

No stranger to the EEF circuit, Oliver Pisarik has already put in strong performances this season in Samorin, Budapest and Martofte.

In the CSIO4* 1.45m Prize of the Fonds du Sport Vaudois presented by the Commune d'Avenches, the host nation's Romain Duguet gave the Avenches-crowd exactly what they came for, taking the win aboard Bel Canto de Boguin (Grenat de Grez x Arpege Pierreville). Barbara Schnieper (SUI) and Judy KM (Joly St. Hubert x Saphir von der Rossi) finished second, with Jeroen Appelen (BEL) and Gently Z (Gentleman x Numero Uno) completing the podium in third.
