The 1.60m CSI4* Grand Prix of Gijon was contested over two rounds. Only the podium managed to deliver a double clear effort. In the end, Olivier Lazarus rode Conbalthago PS (by Contendros 2) to victory.
Lazarus and Paul Schockemöhle’s homebred gelding narrowly finished ahead of Emanuele Camilli and the 13-year-old Chacco’s Girlstar (by Chacco-Blue). Also faultless, Janne Frederike Meyer-Zimmermann completed the top three with Iron Dames Dubai du Cedre (by Baloubet du Rouet).
With one jumping fault, Julien Epaillard just missed the podium. Riding Fringan de Vesquerie (by Mylord Carthago*HN), he still beat the time of Imma Roquet Autonell and Irivola Del Maset (by Indret Del Maset).
