Richard Vogel, riding the 11-year-old Cloudio (by Casall, breeder: Heike Arendt), secured the win with a margin of just a few tenths of a second. They edged out Scott Brash on the 16-year-old KWPN gelding, Hello Senator (by Carambole, breeder: Henstra and Henstra).
Approximately one second behind, Patrick Lam delighted the home crowd by finishing third aboard the 13-year-old AES stallion, Dakota (by Denver V). Yuri Mansur and the 10-year-old Clariquada T (by Clarimo) took fourth place. Despite one jumping fault, Mel Thijssen rounded out the top five with the 11-year-old KWPN mare, Juice (by Tyson).
