The CSI4* Grand Prix of Hessen in Frankfurt, presented by Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG, delivered a true jump-off battle over 1.55m on Sunday afternoon, with the decisive round rewarding precision and speed in equal measure. From a field of 40 starters, the top of the leaderboard was ultimately shaped by fractions of seconds and the smallest mistakes in the tiebreak.
Germany’s Richard Vogel took the win with Cloudio (Casall) after producing the fastest clear in the jump-off, stopping the clock at 34.09 seconds. Patrick Stühlmeyer secured second place with Baloutaire PS (Balou du Rouet), also double clear, in 36.51 seconds.
Felix Hassmann completed the all-German top three with Vithargos W.Z. (Vivant), faultless in 36.67 seconds.
Just outside the podium, Angelique Böckmann and Jardessa (Berlin) delivered another clear jump-off to finish fourth in 38.34 seconds.
Fifth place went to Tom Schewe with Lester (Eldorado vd Zeshoek), who posted the quickest time of the top five in 33.64 seconds but added four faults in the jump-off.
