During the German Masters in Stuttgart, Richard Vogel received the FN Badge of Honour with Laurel Wreath from the German federation. This is the highest distinction the federation awards to active riders.
Vogel looks back on an exceptionally successful year. In A Coruña, he won individual gold at the European Championships with United Touch 'S' (Untouched). Together with the German team, he also secured the bronze team medal.
Peter Hofmann presented the award. The chairman of the jumping committee praised not only Vogel’s sporting achievements but also his way of handling horses. “Richard represents top-level sport,” Hofmann concluded.
