Together with the nine-year-old gelding, Philippaerts achieved success up to the highest level. Earlier this year, the Belgian rider expressed his admiration for the gelding, bred by Stijn Stevens. Rolex began his competition career with Louke Baeten in the saddle. The rider from Limburg produced the gelding up to the age of seven.

Afterward, Nicola Philippaerts took over the reins. The pair became Belgian Indoor Champions, and this past summer - at nine years old - the duo secured second place in the 1.50m in Valkenswaard and placed in the top five at the Major League Showjumping in Lexington. Earlier this year, the pair also landed on the international podium several times in Ocala and Wellington.

In the meantime, the son of Bamako de Muze has completed his first rounds with his new rider, Mathijs Van Asten.
