The British rider, Scott Brash, had a top week in Barcelona last week. Meanwhile, he has announced the sale of the 11-year-old gelding, Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 25, breeder: Tina Petersson-Lind).
The Saudi Arabian federation has purchased the gelding. Brash had been partnered with the gelding since 2022. Previously, Wilma Hellström and Ciaran Dreeling were in the saddle. With Hellström, the Diamantino son competed up to CSI2 Grand Prix level.*
Together with Brash, Valentino competed up to CSI5 Grand Prix level. Earlier this year, the pair won a 1.55m round of the Global Champions League in London. In the 1.60m CSI4 Grand Prix in Chantilly, the pair placed second.**
