Sixteen combinations made it to the second round of this Grand Prix. In the end, Scott Brash, together with the BWP horse Hello Jefferson (Cooper vd Heffinck), jumped to victory. With a finishing time of 46.12 seconds, the duo stayed just one-tenth of a second ahead of French show jumper Nicolas Sers. The Frenchman was the first to start in the second round.

Sers, riding Eleven de Riverland (Kannan), ultimately finished second and was only a few tenths of a second faster than Katharina Rhomberg and the thirteen-year-old Cuma 5 (Comme Il Faut 5). The pair seemed to be on their way to victory but had to settle for third place.

Just off the podium, Belgium’s Thibeau Spits finished fourth riding the ten-year-old Impress-K van 't Kattenheye Z (Indoktro K van 't Kattenheye). Alessandra Reich completed the top five with Oeli R (Denzel vh Meulenhof), also after a double clear round.
