The mare, bred by Lonnie Bechmann Schultz, jumped to several international successes with the American rider. The pair won individual gold and team silver during the FEI North American Youth Championships in 2021. Furthermore, they won the 1.55m CSI5* Kubota Cup in 2023 at Spruce Meadows and were part of the winning team in the CSIO3* Nations Cup of Traverse City!

The daughter of Canstakko was developed internationally by Marc Bettinger and previously competed internationally with riders including Amanda Derbyshire.

Gochman announced the retirement on her social media.

“Celina, there aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to have been your partner all these years,” Gochman shared on social media. “The last 9 years have been absolutely incredible, and you’ve changed my life in so many ways. Thank you for being my heart horse day in and day out. I enjoyed our wins and learning moments equally and I always knew you had my back. You jumpstarted my career from junior jumpers all the way to my first senior nations cups and I will never be able to put into words how much you have given me and how much you mean to me. I will miss you more than anything, but I am so happy we can give you the retirement you deserve. Thank you to every person who loved Celina and cared for her as much as I do, being part of her world is something I will cherish forever.
