The resounding victory of Gilles Thomas and Chuck van het Mariënshof (Colestus x Emerald Van 't Ruytershof) in the CSI4* Grand Prix at the Stockholm International Horse Show is still fresh in everyone's minds. As the duo took their lap of honor, the horse's breeder watched with immense pride. Chuck’s life story reads like an adventure novel: from a mix-up during insemination to a life-threatening escapade through a glass window. "Chuck loves playing this game so much, it's wonderful to witness," reacts breeder Sandra Ecker. She adds a piece of his colourful history: "He once jumped through the window, after which..."
