Norwegian equestrian star Therese Søhol Henriksen has announced the sale of her "one in a million" partner, Santos Z (Spartacus tn x Cassini i). After nearly seven years of competing at the highest levels of the sport, the 14-year-old Zangersheide stallion is moving across the Atlantic to begin a new chapter in the United States.
Henriksen, who developed Santos Z personally since 2019, shared a moving tribute to the horse that defined her career. Together, the duo climbed from national ranks to the world stage, representing Norway at the 2024 European Championships in Spain, the Longines League of Nations in Rotterdam and many other top level events.
While their competitive record is decorated with double clears and championship appearances, Henriksen emphasized that her fondest memories aren't just on the scoreboard. "More than the results, I will always cherish your kindness, your cuddles, and your beautiful soul," she shared, noting that the stallion's presence in the stable is already deeply missed.
Santos Z leaves for the US with the best wishes of a team that credit him with providing "confidence, joy, and memories for a lifetime."
